Your child does not need to be brave.

They need to feel safe. That is what we build here.

Twice Pediatric Dentistry is a different kind of practice built around trust, patience, and the belief that early experiences shape a lifetime.

From Dr. Tiffany

Why I Started Twice

I am a pediatric dentist and a mom. I started Twice because I kept seeing the same thing in my training and early career: children leaving dental offices scared, overwhelmed, and sometimes traumatized. And I kept thinking: it does not have to be like this.

A bad experience at four can become avoidance at fourteen and neglect at thirty-four. That is not just about teeth. That is about trust, and trust, once lost in a medical setting, is very hard to rebuild.

So I built Twice around a different idea. That the experience matters as much as the treatment. That kids deserve patience and honesty, not pressure. That parents deserve to be in the room, to ask questions, and to understand every recommendation before they agree to it.

"We let kids ask for a pause. We go step by step. We try again if we need to."

What a Visit Feels Like

We do not rush. We do not assume. We go at your child's pace.

You Stay in the Room

Always. No exceptions. You are part of this visit, not just the waiting room.

We Show Before We Do

We explain every tool, every step, before it happens. We practice on a finger. We count together.

We Go Slow

There is no rush. If something takes longer, it takes longer. That is okay.

We Pause When They Need It

We listen when a child tells us they need a moment. Sometimes we take a lap around the office. Sometimes we try again another day.

Questions Are Welcome

From parents. From kids. At any point. Before, during, or after.

We Look at the Whole Kid

Teeth are part of breathing, development, and the whole body. We pay attention to all of it.

How We Protect Trust

These are the lines we do not cross.

We keep parents fully informed, before, during, and after.

We explain before we recommend. You understand why before we ask you to decide.

We do not rush through fear. We do not push past overwhelm.

We use sedation thoughtfully, not automatically. We discuss every option with you first.

Early Experiences Shape a Lifetime

Children who have good dental experiences early are far more likely to seek care throughout their lives. Children who are scared, rushed, or not listened to often carry that into adulthood as dental avoidance, and avoidance has real health consequences.

Twice was built on the belief that a good pediatric dentist does not just clean teeth. They build trust. And trust, built early, lasts.

There Is Rarely Only One Path

We see a lot of families who come to us after being told their child needs crowns, or extractions, or full anesthesia, without being walked through the why, the alternatives, or the tradeoffs. We handle those conversations differently.

You deserve context. You deserve time. We do not make decisions without you.

1

We tell you what we see.

2

We explain what we recommend and why.

3

We tell you what else is possible.

A Note to Parents

You are not in the waiting room here. You are in the room. You can ask anything, before, during, after. We explain things until they make sense. And we try our best to be honest and clear about what we see, what we recommend, and what it might cost.

We work hard to make our recommendations and costs as clear as possible. We will not always be perfect. Billing is complicated. But transparency is always our intention.

Insurance & TennCare

We Accept Both. Here Is the Honest Truth.

We accept insurance. We accept TennCare. Yes, insurance can be a pain. Yes, the administrative side can feel clunky and frustrating. We find it frustrating too. We already work hard behind the scenes to make it as smooth as possible. Patient care is always the priority. We want to serve as many families in this community as possible, and we have no desire to stop accepting insurance or TennCare.

Hey, Kid.

Here is what happens at Twice.

We show you everything before we do it.

We count with you.

You can ask for a break anytime.

We go one step at a time.

You do not have to be brave.
You just have to be here.
